Q: What are the journals made of? How are they made?
A: Jill sculpts original cover designs from paper clay then reproduces them using rubber molds and resin casts. The designs are hand painted with a special technique resulting in covers that resemble old gilded leather. The pages inside are made from 100% recycled acid-free paper.

Q: Are the journal pages lined or unlined?
A: Pages in Figments Studio journals are unlined.

Q: How many pages are in the journals?
A: 160, front and back.

Q: Can I put photographs in the journals? Are the pages acid-free?

Q: Do you do custom work? Can I order a journal with a custom word or image? Can I order journals with my company logo?
A: Yes! You can order journals with a custom word option, or a custom image. For more information about custom orders please see our custom order page.

Q: How are Figments Studio journals and accessories packaged? Do you offer gift wrapping?
A: All Figments Studio journals and accessories are shipped in our beautiful custom designed packaging box. Jill's goal was to create a box that resembled a beautiful and ornate package you might discover while rummaging through your grandmother's attic. Figments Studio also offers gift wrapping with a beautiful decorative paper imported from England, which features an image of antique books. Each gift wrap is finished with a color coordinated ribbon and gift tag. For orders with multiple gift wrapped items, similarly-sized items will be wrapped together. If you require items to be wrapped separately, please place separate orders for each gift-wrapped item.
